What you share with us
When you order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event type and date, guest count, menu choices, pickup or delivery details (including your delivery address), and any notes you provide. We also keep order references, payment and refund status, and messages you exchange with the kitchen.
Notes may include allergies or dietary needs. Share only what the kitchen needs to understand your request; please leave out unrelated medical details, payment card numbers, and other sensitive information.
Website hosting and security services may record technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested pages, and errors to help operate and protect the site.
How your information is used
We use order details to check availability, arrange pickup or delivery, prepare orders, answer questions, send order updates, handle payments and refunds, and maintain business records. We also use technical information to troubleshoot errors and protect the ordering service.
Placing an order does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. Optional advertising measurement is described below; declining it does not affect ordering.
Optional advertising measurement
If you choose “Allow,” we remember an advertising click reference for up to 90 days. After a confirmed payment from that visit, Google Ads receives the click reference, a unique order reference, currency, and food value excluding tax and delivery. Google may also receive technical information such as your IP address and browser, and set advertising measurement cookies. We use this to understand which ads lead to orders.
We do not include your name, email, phone number, delivery address, allergy notes, or private order link in the measurement event. Enhanced conversions and personalized advertising are turned off. The measurement script runs on a separate confirmation screen, not on checkout, private order details, or admin pages. Google handles this information under its privacy policy.
Choose “No thanks” to decline. You can change your choice using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. We remember the choice for six months and honor Global Privacy Control by declining measurement. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement; it does not retract data already sent. Essential order and staff sign-in storage still works.
The services that help us
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts the website and stores order records.
- Stripe processes payments and refunds. We send it your email address, order items, amounts, and order references. You enter payment details directly in Stripe's checkout; our website does not receive or store your full card number or security code. Stripe may collect billing and fraud-prevention information.
- Resend delivers order emails. Email contents can include order details and notes. Customer messages and kitchen notifications are also handled by our business email service, Google Workspace.
- Google Maps Platform validates your delivery address and calculates driving distance when you check delivery eligibility. We send the address to Google for this check. See Google's privacy policy.
- Cal.com handles consultation bookings if you follow our booking link. Information you enter there is handled under its own privacy notice.
These services process information to provide their services and have their own privacy notices. We may also disclose records where required by law or needed to address a payment dispute.
What this browser remembers
The site saves your cart, event selection, and checkout draft in this browser so you can return to an unfinished order. Your draft includes contact details, delivery address, and notes, and is saved as you fill in the form, before you submit an order. Saved contact details and notes can remain after checkout and do not automatically expire.
Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see those saved details. You can remove them by clearing this website's data in your browser settings. That removes local drafts, not orders already submitted to the kitchen.
Staff sign-in uses a session cookie. Stripe and Cal.com may use their own cookies when you visit their services.
Keeping records and handling requests
Order records and correspondence are not automatically deleted when an order is completed or canceled. We keep them for order support, refunds, disputes, and business recordkeeping. Backup copies may remain until the backup retention period ends.
To ask about your information or request access, a correction, or deletion, email hello@youhanna.co. Include your order reference if you have one. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or unresolved transactions.
